The Latrobe Valley Water Ski Club Inc began its operation in 1963 and has established itself as a leading club in Australia. From the outset the club took on a developing role in water skiing. Today it continues to be innovative in progressing the development of tournament water skiing.

The developments of the club demonstrate how this long standing club has created some of the best tournament skiing facilities in Australia.

The second lake and trick course was constructed and opened 1992-93
Judges Towers on all courses were installed 1994-96
The Ski Flying Course & Ramp adjustment was installed 1999
A new central Judges Tower is under construction for installation 2001
