As with any Club, the Latrobe Valley Water Ski Club Inc. has a number of important rules, some of which are listed as follows:

	The club has a policy that all its members boats used at the Club must have Skier liability boat insurance with Public Liability Insurance to a minimum value of $5.0 Million. This insurance is supplemented by Club Public Liability obtained by all club members being some category of the AWSF
	All members are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion at all times when at the Club. This is particularly important for the development of the Club in collaboration with the Latrobe City for exclusive rights to the water
	To minimise Club fees the Club does not have any paid employees, all work is done either on a voluntary basis, or by using Club funds to employ people. Members are therefore expected to attend working bees and assist at Tournament with setting up, packing up, course maintenance, canteen duties, judging, pick up driving etc.
